Rest isn’t a prize for finishing the list. It’s how a body stays a body.
If your day was heavy, you may feel you have to keep proving you can take it. You don’t. Sit. Eat. Look at one sky. Let the music play without a lesson attached.
Permission is a soft word. Take it anyway. Nobody else has to sign it.
If rest makes you feel guilty, that guilt isn’t a moral fact. It’s an old weather system. Let it pass over you while you stay on the couch.
