A heavy morning is still a morning

Some mornings the body is already tired. The moon is still out. The day hasn’t earned your hope yet, and you’re asked to stand anyway.

Stand if you can. Sit if you cannot. Drink water. Open one curtain. A heavy morning is still a morning. The flowers opened without asking how you slept.

You don’t owe the day a smile. You owe it one small beginning. Then another, if there’s one.

If most mornings have been this heavy for a long time, that’s worth a real conversation — a doctor, a counselor, Help. We’re a friend with a sky, not a clinic.
