Some of us treat food like a test we keep failing. Skip. Rush. Stand over the sink. Call it fine. The body hears all of that.

Eat like you live here. A plate. A chair if you have one. Even five quiet minutes. The windows already lit by the water aren’t a show. They’re saying: the evening is for staying.

This isn’t a diet. It’s respect. Hunger isn’t a character flaw. It’s a signal, like dusk.
